For the first time ever, BTS' summer package takes place in their homeland, Korea! BigHit released a teaser trailer today for the fans and the visuals are absolutely stunning. The boys typically film the annual summer package vacation overseas, but have decided to feature the incredible views of Korea.

​Not only do BTS look amazing in their own adaptations of traditional outfits, but the setting in Korea's countryside seems so serene and peaceful. The teaser has a few second close-ups for each of the members. Even though the boys are on a break, it seems as if they have been giving us so much love with these new releases.

LET'S KCON!

The long-awaited KCONLA 2019 is finally among us! The four-day event starts on Thursday, August 15th all the way through Sunday, August 18th. KCON USA is an annual convention, showcased in both New York and Los Angeles. Thousands of fans gather to bond over their love for Korean culture through K-pop music, dramas and TV shows, fashion, beauty, skincare, food, art, and much more! 

KCON features interactive workshops, including dance, panels for artists, and tons of merch booths. A concert takes place at the end of the night during Saturday and Sunday at the Staples Center and it is an absolutely amazing experience. Fans from all across the country travel to see their favorite groups and artists. Attendees for this weekend in Los Angeles include: Chung Ha, Ateez, ITZY, Seventeen, fromis_9, IZ*ONE, Loona, Mamamoo, Momoland, Nu'est, Stray Kids, and many more influencers!

'Head in the Clouds', the most anticipated single day summer event is coming this Saturday on August 17th at the Los Angeles State Historic Park! 88rising is making history, as the line-up features mainly Asian artists and other biggest music acts from around the world. 

The festival features Asian youth culture through creativity, music, food, art and fashion. Hip-hop is the center of 88rising's event and they have come again for a second groundbreaking year.

A few of the stellar artists that will be attending the festival include: Joji, Niki, Got7's Jackson Wang, K-pop group iKON, Rich Brian, DPR Live, August 08, and Manila Killa. Just in time for Halloween season - one of our favorite actresses has just booked a spooky role! Sydney Park will be playing the lead starring as "Makani" in the new Netflix movie "There's Someone Inside Your House." The story revolves around a graduating class at Osborne High that is being targeted by a masked assailant who's intent is exposing the darkest secret of each victim. Only a group of misfit outsiders can stop the killings before their own secrets are revealed to the world. Sydney is currently starring in "Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists" now playing on Freeform. Congratulations Sydney!

V, also known as Kim Taehyung, released a new solo song titled "Winter Bear" and fans just can't get enough. The members of BTS occasionally drop new singles that appear across the multiple BTS platforms without any form of heads up. 

BTS fans, or army, are extremely excited when their favorite member releases new music, especially when the track is featured heavily with English lyrics. BigHit uploaded a music video for "Winter Bear" to their YouTube channel and the visuals are absolutely stunning. Accompanied with V's sweet vocals, he reminisces and captures his past memories in the United States and Europe with a camera. The video incorporates the best of nature, architecture, and travel through V's eyes. His artistic qualities are definitely showcased with this new song and we can't wait to see what V and all the BTS members have in store for us in the future.

JYP has confirmed a TWICE comeback is in the works and that the girl group is set to film their music video this week. “TWICE is filming their music video on August 9. It is true that they are preparing for their comeback, but the exact timing has not been decided yet. It will be officially announced once confirmed.” The girls have been a part of news headlines lately with member Mina being pulled out of their Twice Lights Tour due to health issues and confirmed dating news of TWICE leader Jihyo and Kang Daniel.  

It's been non-stop for the boys of Tomorrow X Together since their debut. Last week, they were set to take the stage for their first Award Show performance at the 2019 M2 x Genie Music Awards but had to pull Yeonjun from attending due to severe back pains. Just yesterday, Big Hit Entertainment announced that Soobin, leader of TXT, has been diagnosed with infectious conjunctivitis. As a result, TXT will not be performing at the upcoming Lotte Duty Free Family Concert on August 11th and their anticipated August comeback has now been pushed to September. We're glad that Big Hit is taking good care of their artists and wish Yeonjun and Soobin speedy recoveries! 

About a month after Halle Bailey was announced as the live action Princess Ariel, Auli’i Cravalho is set to take the stage as Ariel in an upcoming live concert production of The Little Mermaid, which will air on ABC in the fall! It has been confirmed that Queen Latifah will be playing the role of Ursula and Shaggy will be starring as Sebastian. The live event will happen in front of a studio audience and it will air on Tuesday, November 5 at 8pm. We can’t wait!
