We have been big fans of Wong Fu Productions since they started on YouTube over 10 years ago and we've followed their projects through the years such as: Strangers Again, Single By 30 and Everything Before Us. This year, they're coming out with a new series which they impressively independently funded and produced - called YAPPIE (which means Young Asian Professional with higher education, a well-paying job and a comfortable lifestyle.) The series revolves around a character named Andrew (played by Philip Wang) and his group of friends who are all "Yappies." And according to the description given by the Wong Fu team, "...for the first time, due to some new influences and experiences, Andrew is discovering the effects of his invisibility on the canvas of diversity and is finally realizing he wants to do something about it." The first episode of YAPPIE is already out and we can't wait to see the rest of the series! Check out the first episode below and let us know what you think!
